Sources and accuracy
We rely on widely accepted horticultural practice, established botanical references, and guidance from major gardening institutions. Where a recommendation depends on local climate, we say so. If we get something wrong, we correct it and note the change.
Writing and editing
Every guide is written by a human and reviewed by a second person before publication. We edit for clarity, accuracy, and readability on mobile. We avoid hype, marketing language, and filler.
Product mentions
We only recommend categories of products we believe a sensible gardener would benefit from. We do not claim to have personally tested a product unless we say so explicitly. Where links are affiliate links, we mark sections clearly and include a disclosure.
Updates
Every published guide carries a last updated date. We revisit popular guides at least once a year and after any significant change in widely accepted advice.
Independence
We do not let advertisers or affiliate partners influence what we recommend. If we cannot recommend something honestly, we leave it out.
